The Intranet & Digital Communication Observatory is back! This new edition will be open from January 25 to March 31, 2023.

FOLLOW THE EVOLUTION OF COLLABORATION AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATION PRACTICES

Since the pandemic, organizations have been evolving in an uncertain global context that forced them to adapt their daily operations. For many organizations, the implementation of internal digital tools has been a way to cope with these upheavals, especially with the irreversible hybridization of work. As a matter of fact, keeping the link and allowing the continuity of the activity and the collaboration wherever we are is now part of the priorities of the organizations..

Communication is also more than ever at the heart of the organization's challenges. Whether it is to make internal communication more fluid, develop links between employees or encourage the appropriation of new ways of working, communication practices and usages are rapidly changing.

If the 2021 issue was focused on digital working, this new issue of the Intranet Observatory will be targeting digital communication. Communication digitale. In addition to the usual questions raised, we are also evaluating the targeting, the editorial formats used and the methods of engagement proposed in the digital communication platforms.

THE RESEARCH THAT DECIPHERS THE TRENDS OF INTERNAL DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

For more than 20 years, the Intranet Observatory, Arctus' historic research has been analyzing the trends in internal digital tools deployed in organizations and the associated uses..

The objective of the survey is always to identify the tools available internally, their level of use and the degree of commitment of the populations to the digital transformation..

The questioning is based on 4 main themes:

  • The challenges of digital transformation
  • The features and digital tools
  • The level of use of the system
  • Support and governance

THE NEW FEATURES OF THIS 2023 ISSUE OF THE INTRANET & DIGITAL COMMUNICATION OBSERVATORY

  • Firstly, the research now extends to te populations of the organization towards whom it is difficult to communicate via digital channels: the hard to reach employees.
What challenges do they face in the context of digital communication? What means are available to integrate them into the communication flow?
  • Secondly : this year, we will use a metaphor illustrated by communicating spaces.

THE INTERNAL DIGITAL MATURITY METAPHOR

This year, evaluate the level of equipment and usage of your organization's internal digital system through a metaphor that evokes a living, rich, and moving universe.

The metaphor represents the interface between different universes that allow both exchange and access to personalized domains..
Two dimensions are measured:

  • The level of digital features implemented internally, represented by the multiplication of connected universes (puzzle pieces)
  • The degree of usage observed in the organization, represented by the number of existing interactions within the universes

For each of these two axes, we have defined the following 9 stages of maturity:

At the end of the questionnaire, each respondent will have access to the profile corresponding to their answers, as well as the characteristics and the associated levers of progress.
